Moving

The reason I haven't updated in several days is that my entire house is either in boxes, in piles waiting to be packed, or strewn all over the place. Yes, I'm getting ready to move. It's been an exhausting process so far but we get the key to our new place today and hopefully by next week I can restart The Great Nintendo Challenge. Until then you won't be hearing anything from me. I'm off!

My Stats

Brain Age: My Brain Age is 70!! Yikes.

First Impressions of Brain Age: I really like the way this game is set up. I find the instructor to be quite hilarious. The way his face moves cracks me up.

Wii Sports:

A picture of myself taken today:

Stats: Wii Fitness Age: 46
I also played a best of three round of tennis with the computer. Naturally, I lost.

As you can see, there is clearly room for improvement.

A few more notes about my experiment: I will not be changing my eating habits during this exercise. I might add other exercise programs to the experiment later but for the next month it's Wii Sports, Brain Age, and me. Every time I do Wii Fitness I will also play a game of some sort with the computer. I will try to spice up the things I do.

We will find out over the coming month if Nintendo can really make me a smarter, fitter geek. :)

Post 1: Turning to Technology

After several months of feeling like my mind is slowly slipping away, I've decided to create my own "Nintendo Challenge." I will be using Brain Age on my DS to see if I can do things like improve my memory and Wii Sports to see if I can't shed some pounds. I don't own a scale yet but that is coming in the near future. I will be posting a picture of myself later today and then again every Wednesday after.

My goal: Use Brain Age and Wii Sports for half an hour each day.
